This intuitive oil pastel sketch is part of a studio practice in which I intuitively choose and layer colors depending on how I'm feeling and what energy would like to be expressed on the page. It is somewhat of a warm-up exercise that is not intended to be a "finished" piece, but an expression and exploration of the relationship between energy and color.
